Think about an expensive, custom-made baseball glove.

Not something pulled off a shelf. This is high-level craftsmanship—premium leather, designed with intention, built for a specific role. Every stitch matters. Every detail is there for a reason. It’s ready the moment it hits the field because it was made right from the start.

That kind of glove has value built into it.

That’s how God made you.

Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” You were designed with precision. Your personality, your gifts, your mindset—God chose all of it. You are not random. You were made in His image, and that gives you worth before you ever do anything.

And you weren’t just made—you were placed.

At the right time. In the right moment. For a purpose that belongs to you.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” God already set assignments in front of you—on the field, in the dugout, in your home, in your life. There are things only you are meant to do.

You have a role that matters.

God determined the exact times and places we would live. That means where you are right now isn’t an accident. This team, this season, this moment—you’re here on purpose.

And through it all, one truth doesn’t change:

You are custom made and valuable.

Not because of your stats. Not because of wins or losses. But because you belong to Him. That’s where your worth comes from. It’s already established.

Like a custom glove carries value because of the one who made it, your value comes from God. And He doesn’t make anything without purpose.

So step onto the field knowing this—you matter, you’re needed, and you’ve been called.
