Build the Brotherhood:

Spring Training Series – Part 4 (Team Chemistry & Culture)

Spring Training shapes culture.

New players join. Veterans lead. Expectations are set. Identity forms.

Talent can win a few games. Unity sustains a season.

Psalm 133:1 says, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”

Romans 12:10 commands, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

Galatians 6:2 instructs, “Carry each other’s burdens.”

Strong teams choose unity. They protect the clubhouse. They celebrate teammates ’success. They confront selfishness.

Players — your attitude affects the dugout. Parents — your words affect the team culture. Coaches — your leadership sets the tone.

Jesus built a team of twelve very different men and formed them into a brotherhood. He corrected them. Challenged them. Unified them.

Selfish teams fracture under pressure. Connected teams fight for each other.

Spring Training asks: what kind of culture are we building?

In your home. In your stands. In your dugout.

Unity doesn’t happen accidentally. It’s built intentionally.

Choose encouragement over criticism. Choose humility over ego. Choose team over self.

That’s how championships — and strong faith communities — are formed.

Live It

Encourage a teammate publicly. Refuse to complain in the stands. Honor someone else’s success. Lead with humility this week.

Be a culture builder.

Let’s Pray

God,

Build unity in our teams and families. Remove selfishness. Help us honor one another and carry burdens together.

Make our dugouts strong and our hearts aligned with You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Blessings In Christ,

The Team at Bibles and Baseball
