Better Together

If you’ve ever been to a ballgame, you know the power of being with other fans. When your team hits a walk-off home run, the whole place erupts. Strangers high-five. Everyone’s part of something bigger. But when your team loses, those same fans stick around. They sigh, shake their heads, and say, “We’ll get ’em next time.” Even in disappointment, there’s comfort in being together.

That’s what Christian fellowship is like. We celebrate together when life’s going well — when prayers are answered, when victories come. But we also walk together through the losses — when life hurts, when faith feels stretched thin. Being with other believers reminds us that we’re not alone, and that our hope isn’t in today’s scoreboard but in Christ, who’s already won the ultimate victory.

Faith was never meant to be lived in isolation. Like loyal fans, we show up — in the highs and the lows — because being together strengthens our hearts and keeps our eyes on the bigger game God is playing.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” — Hebrews 10:24–25

Let’s Pray

Lord, thank You for the gift of fellowship. Help me to stay connected to Your people — to celebrate victories with gratitude and face disappointments with faith. Teach me to encourage others and find joy in being part of Your team, no matter the score.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Live It

Don’t sit in the stands by yourself. Show up — at church, in your small group, with your brothers in Christ. If you don’t have a church take this off season to find one. Celebrate the wins, and stand together through the losses. That’s where real strength and joy are found

Blessings In Christ,

The Team at Bibles and Baseball
